Hi, I’m Matt The Zainer!
Hello! My name is Mateus Oliveira, and I’m an illustrator and graphic designer with a lifelong passion for art and visual storytelling. Born and raised in the northern region of Brazil, I’ve been surrounded by creativity from a young age. My love for drawing began when I was just five years old, inspired by my father’s deep appreciation for movies and music. Growing up, I was constantly immersed in cartoons and films, which fueled my imagination and strengthened my connection to art.
At the age of ten, I joined my first drawing course and discovered the world of comics — especially Marvel. I still remember my first superhero drawing: Wolverine. From that moment on, my artistic style naturally evolved toward dynamic, expressive superhero art, a passion that continues to shape my work today.
When I turned sixteen, I began volunteering for a professional wrestling blog, which introduced me to graphic and digital design. It was during this experience that I first explored tools like Photoshop and Premiere, teaching myself how to design banners, edit visuals, and create promotional artwork for websites. That early exposure marked the beginning of my journey as a designer — blending my love for illustration with the creative possibilities of digital media.

I’m a dedicated and easygoing person who truly values meaningful friendships and enjoys spending my free time with friends. I have a deep passion for pop culture — especially movies, music, anime, and video games — and a lifelong love for comics. Sports are also a big part of who I am, with soccer being one of my greatest passions.
Currently, I live in Toronto, Canada, where I’m studying Graphic Design at Seneca Polytechnic. My journey as an artist and designer continues to evolve as I refine my drawing skills and expand my creative abilities. Through continuous learning and practice, I strive to grow both personally and professionally, shaping myself into a well-rounded and inspired designer.
